This frequency can vary based on the number of users and the frequency of use. The majority of our composting toilet systems use biodegradable or compostable waste bags. These bags are made from plant-based materials that break down naturally along with the waste, supporting eco-friendly disposal. These biodegradable bags are intended for single use to ensure hygiene and ease of disposal. After use, they can be composted along with the waste, contributing to the composting process without leaving harmful residues.

Yes - The small fan positioned in the vent pipe is the only component requiring power and uses only a few dollars worth per year. Alternatively, we have optional solar power systems that require no mains power connection at all.
